Mission: Sophisticated Man (Phase 2: Music)

In this journey with me growing out of what most would say my old (I call it growing up) I have to make adjustments not only with my outer appearance, but everything. Which is why Phase 2 of Mission: Sophisticated Man is Music. I am quite known for having a passion with music and listening to it on my iPOD pretty much all the time.

Okay back to the topic, I have a vast amount of hip-hop music in my collection and I rarely listen to any of it. Reason being, I am just losing interest in hip-hop music as a whole. Sure there are few artists that I will continue to listen to such as Wale, Lupe, Kanye West and Chamillionaire. The rest though, I'm really just tired of listening to. The lyrics, the purpose of the songs are all pretty much the same. Money, cars, girls, drugs. I do not endorse nor support those actions which is another reason why I am removing all hip-hop (other then those selected few) from of my iPOD.

If you think I'm talking crazy talk, just understand that I'm growing as a man. In a month and some days I will no longer have "-teen" attached to my name. That's a big deal  to me!
