I set up a goal to read two books (Culinaria Italy & Culinaria France) this weekend but things took a different turn. its not a major setback or anything, just something I thought I could do given the time. Although this weekend was great overall. I hung out with a friend, went to Sur La Table and my kitchen shopaholic sensors went off! Copper pots and pans, Le Creuset cookware, everything a chef, foodie and/or a kitchen designer could want. Also this weekend I talked to Brian Dubé of New York Daily Photo via email about choosing a professional camera. If you haven't seen his photovlog I highly encourage you too, its unbelievably amazing! As of now I am doing research on kitchen equipment and professional cameras for my next investment purchases!
I finally caught up with my blog reading because I have been behind on my blog feed by about a week. Now that I'm all caught up, I definitely don't plan on falling weeks behind again like it is school homework that us college students like to procrastinate on! I have also come across some new Food Blogs that seem vibrantly interesting to me, so you may see some added blogs to my list as this week goes on.
School is going pretty good! A little less than a month left and I will be walking across the stage at the nascent of my career obtaining my Associates Degree in Culinary Arts! I am highly anticipating that day with no plans, but will be bounteous and go with the flow. Tomorrow I hear if I am chosen for the Summer OL/WIGIS (Its a JWU Denver thing) for this summer. I really do hope I get chosen because I will be able to help incoming Freshman prepare for and get familiar with college before there first day of college school work takes over their lives! :)
Well this is it for today, I'm going to continue watching Hell's Kitchen Season 5 (my favorite) on Hulu and start reading Culinaria Italy (with no due date) today. Even though I'm not setting up another due date, I wouldn't mind having it done by this week at least! :p
